Wow... I would ditch that trainer. Good trainers help you create positive changes in your mind and body. They don't recommend pills0

And don't forget, the minute you stop taking said pills, the weight comes back. Proper diet and exercise are the only way to do it. The discipline of practicing self control will be what gets you to your goal. Set your mind on healthy living not quick fixes.0

Google intermittent fasting. You workout before you eat so your body burns fat for energy instead of the food you ate.0

There's no point in taking a fat pill if your macros aren't tightly dialed in in combination with your training. They help very little compared to the actual diet and exercise and a thermo pill has to be the last link in the chain to be of any real benefit. Im suprised a trainer wouldn't first recommend a good BCAA product to help you train and heal better or a multivitamin and omega 3 supp. I hope he didn't tell you to take a thermo unless you are already managing your macros and he knows it.0

There are no pills sold over counter that will give you significant results. Most are caffeine + some herb extract that can make you jittery or make your stomach hurt. Yohimbe kinda works, but still not worth it.
However there are things that work, google "eca stack" it actually works if combined with exercise. Not really dangerous, just don't over do it, do your research, few people have died from it.
Then there is DNP it's literally like drinking rat poison, but it really burns fat. You need supplements when using it just to not die, and if you don't hydrate or overheat you WILL die.-1 -
Ditch the trainer !
Stay within your calories---dont eat back your exercise calories---log your intake---drink your water---sweat every day! And SMILE and relish ALL your victories and dont beat yourself up about any slip ups, just get over it and get started again! Keep a log of your nonscale victories (NSVs) and review it occasionally for motivation FROM and FOR yourself!0 -

If they really worked, there would be no obese people in the world...none.
Well, there is one that works, except for the pesky side effects like death.
If the guy is pushing DNP, not only is that illegal, but it's very likely he'll kill someone, because even doctors with carefully regulated dosages ended up killing many of their patients before the drug was determined to be too risky to have any legitimate medical value. I should mention - this was a drug deemed too risky back in the days where lobotomizing people with an ice pick through the eye socket was acceptable medical practice; if that was too dangerous even for those wild west days of medicine, think how bad it is by today's standards.
Most likely, though, the guy is pushing snake oil.0 -
