I had a bowl of wilted spinach drizzled with 1/2 tbls olive oil, pink Himalayan salt and a poached egg.0

Soup. I usually stick to protein and veggies for my first meal of the day (no matter what time that first meal is) and then add my carbs in later. I just find I feel better that way and have less cravings and stay in better control for the day. I sometimes have oatmeal for dinner though. It's funny how the diet evolves with the seasons, and it's cool how MFP helps you change your awareness of food intake, and you can be brave and try new things and see what makes you feel best. What works for one season of life may not work for another, and it just evolves.
