Starvation mode with too much exercise?

I had my sensitivity to cold go up a lot post losing weight, and for a while, being bothered by it was stalling my weight loss. In hindsight, I'd say resistance training seems to really reduce this, although it might just be that as I work out in my cooler basement, I was just fiddling with what temperature my body expects to be in.
I hope this works. I still have a bunch of weight to lose and I am bloody freezing all the time. I'm still wearing embarrassing fuzzy winter lounge wear around the house all the time.

I was cold all the time when I was fat. Now that I've lost the weight it's no worse. If not being cold was supposed to be a perk about being fat I never got it, and I resent that. ;-)0
