Here's a list of common diet myths that have been debunked by science.

NOTE, THESE ARE MYTHS!
  1. Saturated fat is bad
  2. A low-fat diet is better for health
  3. Salt is the devil
  4. Sugar is the dietary devil with its empty kilojoules
  5. Eggs are evil
  6. Multiple small meals beats three square meals
  7. Low fat dairy is better for health and weight loss
  8. Cooking with olive oil is bad
  9. Skipping breakfast is a terrible idea
  10. Fasting slows your metabolism and increases cortisol

    You can eat as much "clean" food as you want to lose weight
    junk foods will make you gain weight
    creatine is bad for the kidneys
    You need to do cario to lose weight

    You need to have breakfast to restart your metabolism.

    Lol, I've seen pretty much all of them circulating the forums over the past few months. Should have started a spreadsheet and I probably could have listed a lot more!

    Refined sugars are promptly stored as fat as soon as you eat them

    You'll die if you don't eat carbs, and even if you don't die, you can never exercise ever again.
    If you do LC and ever eat carbs again, you'll gain back all the weight you lost, which was all water weight, all 50 or 100 lbs of it.
    LC'ers never eat any fruit

    You HAVE TO exercise to lose weight
    switching up your exercise makes you lose weight and get you out of a plateau
