    Did you know I also played clarinet, taught by my dad who sat in with Dave Brubeck, Count Basie and Lionel Hampton's bands when he was young? Do you even know who Dave Brubeck, Count Basie and Lionel Hampton were?

    Isn't that cool? Did you know my grandpa played clarinet too? Might he have had his own swing band back in the day and my mom used to love sitting in the kitchen while he and his buddies made their arrangements?
