You haven’t seen “Imma” ? Doesn’t one feel obligated to destroy the rest of the sentence after replacing, “I am going to” with “Imma?”
Can I take a moment to express my disdain for the frequent improper spelling of Ima? Isn’t it the double consonant that makes the vowel ahead of it a short vowel and not a long vowel? I mean, we don’t pronounce the word happy as “HAPE-EE”, do we? Wouldn’t that serve to suggest that Imma should be pronounced IHM-UH, not EYE-MUH?
Is now a good time to end this post by saying Ima hafta go to sleep soon since I’m tryna have a productive day tomorrow? Although, looking at the time, doesn’t it seem unlikely that’s gonna happen?

Do we want to have a competition for coldest temperature? Would you believe, during my military days, I once had to provide security when it was -98F (-72C)? Did you know, at that temperature, it no longer feels cold but actually feels like your skin is on fire?
By comparison, doesn't the temperature when I went to the gym this morning of -5F (-20C) feel positively balmy?
Why does “provide security when it was -98F” make me think you were a bouncer at Santa’s workshop or something? Is there really a place that gets so close to three digit negative temperatures?!?! Do you think the curiosity or fear will win out in a possible rabbit hole to learn about why one’s skin would feel like it’s on fire at that temperature? What could be more nightmarish than feeling frigid— frigid to the degree that you’re scorched?

Why couldn’t I have gone down that rabbit hole to find out the role lawyers play in choosing paint colors instead of sitting here wondering if there will be more harm than good caused if I look into how negative 98 degree temps affect the human body?

So as not to cause too many more alerts of the same person posting consecutively, can I get some things off my chest all at once?
1) Did you know it took me three days to read through like 7 days of missed content which was approximately 10-15 pages worth?
2) Am I the only one annoyed that posts no longer include the time it was posted if not posted today?
3) What’s the purpose of only being able to edit a post within the hour anyway? Haven’t I read and posted so much in the last little bit, that it would make sense I didn’t have the energy to check for typos? Shall I venture to see tomorrow if autocorrect failed me on some occasions? How many comments do you think I will need to make to correct all my errors?
4) Who can I talk to at MFP to suggest people get notified when their comment gets a reaction? Is it safe to say that with the way things are set up now that if I like your posts 7 days later, you’ll likely never know it?
5) Can this singular post serve to commend you all on some REALLY great content over the years and up until the present moment? Isn’t it encouraging that despite 4,891 pages of questions largely about coffee & sleep, that we still manage to come up with new, interesting, clever, witty, funny questions?0 -
