Isn’t it odd I’d never heard that expression before?

Not that odd is it? I've only heard money referred to as "cheddar" in movies, and even there isn't it more often something like "gimme your dough" or "I need to make some bread"?

Can you pay them by Bpay?

( is it called that everywhere?)

What is Bpay? Don’t I need to know that first before I can say if it’s called that everywhere? Or does me not knowing what it is mean it can’t be called that in at least the place that I am?
Do you think it's like Apple pay?

    but who still uses cheques?
How else would I pay my sub- contractors, or my property taxes or the bakery that adds 3% to the bill for credit card charges?

    Credit card? Bank transfer?
Or in the case of the bakery, cash?

Cheques are being phased out here in Australia, isn't that the case in other countries?
Won't you find it interesting that while I do use cash at my bakery (but wanted a third item for my list), neither my township - for property tax payments - nor my sub contractors accept credit cards?

Could it be because they don’t like being charged money to accept money?
    Can you blame them?

Bpay - electronic bill payment - is when companies like electricity, gas, council rates etc have a Bpay number and you can pay directly from your bank account via internet banking - isnt that way easier and quicker than sending a cheque?

Since my kids have only known direct deposit for their jobs, are they not missing out on the pride of framing your first paycheck on the wall?

Is it for somewhere fun or warm?

Would you believe me when I say it's probably the opposite of that? Aren't the temperatures in New York expected to be in the high 50s/low 60s (roughly 15° C) while I'm there?

But won’t it be fun instead of warm then? 😊

Isn't this a boutique hotel with no pool? Also, doesn't my suitcase have an aversion to bikinis?

Isn’t the definition of a beach body a body that can be found at the beach?
  • frankwbrown

In which case, isn't all one needs to do to have a beach body is 1) have a body and 2) go to the beach?

Couldn’t the same be said about a bikini body?

I'd say "no", because wouldn't that mean I could have a bikini body? 🤣

Aren’t you glad you clarified before I started a rumour about your preference to skinny-dip? 😆
