Who invited them? Did they forget how to read and interpret titles? (Also, how did they even find us??)

Isn’t it interesting how while they have only made two posts, it seems to be those two posts were here in this thread?

What the heck is FALL break?

Fall break... Is that a particular kind of break, like where you unsuccessfully break your fall?

Shouldn't they call it Autumn break instead, haha!?

Wouldn’t I be happy with whatever they call it as long as means some days off work?

Don't my kids already get enough time off from school in the form of three-day weekends, spring break and extended winter break to not also need an autumn break? (The fact I never had it when I was in school is irrelevant to this discussion, right?)

Would rather them get a fall break instead?

Why isn't fall break at the end of October for Halloween? Are they trying to discourage late parties that night and trickortreating?

Wouldn't it be better to have Halloween always fall on a Friday, regardless the date?

Am I crazy, or is it World Mental Health Day?

Could the answer to both questions be "yes"? 😁

If two different questions have the same answer, does that mean the two questions are actually the same also?

Did you know I was anticipating that? 😂

So are we supposed to celebrate this Mental Health Day or just reflect on our own mental health and others'..or both?

Isn't that last one from a family member who lives south of me and saw more green than red in the sky?

How sad am I that we got none of it as far south as I live, even though the news said we should? 😥

Does it count if I just forget on the weekend, sometimes, since I don't have to wake up as early?

Would someone want to start a new thread (same theme) so we don’t have to scroll back so far?
  • nossmf
    nossmf Posts: 11,627 Member
If we did that, could we actually adhere to the actual theme (ANSWER a question with a question) rather than what happens all too often (make a random post in the FORM of a question)?

While that would be interesting, has anyone else noticed that we're on page 3396 right now, while we were on page 5094+ (not counting the blank pages) just a few days ago? And yet, there's still a page 1, so why are there nearly 1700 pages fewer now?

Did you miss the announcement from MFP Staff member Nova that they chose to have each page of a thread contain 10 additional posts per page, so while the total number of posts remains the same they are now divided into bigger pages, thus fewer pages?

Aren't I somewhat oblivious of MFP announcements, but didn't I assume that likely was what happened? Wouldn't it have been weird if they had simply cut out whole pages somewhere between the first and last pages?
But why make that change? Did it fix anything?

Aren't I also oblivious (and somewhat indifferent) as to MFP announcements? Did you know this isn't the case for all threads?

Since we still have blank pages in several threads, isn't it safe to assume this change didn't "FIX" things? May I offer the assumption this change was made in an effort to reduce the number of pages a person has to thumb through to find the last post?

Are you assuming they're trying to be helpful?
