    Actually, would it surprise you to learn I didn't have chocolate last night?
    Would it surprise you even more if I told you I am down to only vanilla, strawberry and cold brew coffee gelato/ice cream?
    Would it be less surprising if I told you that I'm having the cold brew coffee gelato this morning in lieu of brewing coffee, since I don't feel like moving much after my 9 mile/5 hour hike yesterday?

    Didn't I acquire my taste for coffee while waitressing during the summer between high school and college? Wouldn't a group of us often go out to an all night diner to unwind? Can you imagine my frustration as a non-coffee drinker, having to pay for refills of hot chocolate or lemonade while everyone else received free coffee refills? Do you wonder why I eventually tried coffee to be more fiscally responsible? Wasn't that the beginning of my love of coffee?

    Isn't this one of the reasons I only drink water when I eat out? (For the record, isn't the other reason the fact that the proper ratio of carbonated water to syrup is usually screwed up at restaurants, resulting in less-appealing fountain soda?)
