Two tablespoons (32 grams) of peanut butter is about 190 calories and about 8 grams of protein.
Two eggs has about 150 calories and about 13 grams of protein.
They are both fine as long as you can fit them into your days while getting enough protein.0 -
Too much is enough to put you over your calories0

Peanut butter the devil??? noooooooo I worship at the alter of all things peanut butter ( thinking I need to find a support group for my addiction lol)
As mailibu said if it doesn't fit with your numbers then it's too much.0 -
Only if you have a peanut allergy-- then yeah, it can kill you.
Why is there a need/trend to demonize foods in the forums lately? I don't get it...0 -
I love peanut butter!!! I love peanuts and eat 2 ounces of pistachios everyday I was at 4 ounces everyday0
-
If it fits in your calorie goal then it is fine.
You probably want to eat things other than peanut butter if you are concerned about balanced nutrition. Peanut butter can be part of a nutritious diet.0 -
Not at all!! You just have to realize how many calories it has and not eat the whole jar in one sitting which I have definitely done before....
But I love taking it when I pack a lunch because it's so protein packed and filling!0 -

Nah.
It is just a food choice you have total control over
Nothing to worry about.

I sure hope you didn't see someone going into shock from a peanut allergy and think it was demonic possession. Call for medical help, not an exercist, if you see someone convulse after food.
If you don't have an allergy, you might want to call in an exercise after too much peanut butter, but the recommendation would be to just not have that much peanut butter.0 -
I eat peanut butter in my oatmeal almost every day. Just weigh it by the gram and make sure you fit it into your calories. If it's too hard to eat a small amount, fine, stay away from it - there are foods I don't eat for this reason. Peanut butter is a gift from above.0

Peanut butter the devil? No way....Maybe devil'ed eggs or devil dogs or devil's food cake - lol0

If peanut butter is the devil, then consider me a satanist.0

Peanut butter is angelic. Too much is when it makes your diet unbalanced or puts you over your calorie limit.0

I will also join the Satanic Cult of Peanut Butter if I must. Can't live without my PB.0 -
The correct answer is...there is never too much0
-
If you get PB2 you can have all the protein at only 45 calories per 2 tbsp. I ditched regular PB for PB2 and am doing great with it.0
