classifying Zumba

I'm getting ready to try Zumba and I've heard that you burn ALOT of calories during it. I'm just wondering what to put it under when I log it since MFP doesn't have it as a choice? For those of you who do it, what's the most accurate choice? Thanks!

I just clicked on the "add" button and added it as "zumba" so it comes up every time I log it. Of course I use a heart rate monitor so I know exactly what to log. I would log it as high impact aerobics if you dont use a heart rate monitor.

I put it under dance- modern and twist...it's something like that. I also just input my hear rate monitor calories. I burn from 550-700 calories per hour. I also get very into it and really throw my hips around :) I also weigh 150, so if you weigh more you will burn more and vice versa. Hope that helps!

I actually just added it to the Data base. According to ASK. com AND my instructor you will burn between 500 and 800 calories depending on intensity. I used the 500 as I am new and tend to stumble around at times. It IS fun and exhausting. Good Luck!

Thanks you guys! I'd love to buy a HRM, but I just don't have the extra $$$ right now and I'm afraid to go too cheap in fear I'll get one that isn't accurate. But the info you provided helps me to at least give it a good estimate!
