    Actually, there is a My 600 lb life: Where are they now? It checks in on the people at the like 2-5 year marks or somewhere in there.

    Also OP, as you get farther into seasons, there are several that you find die. They show the call to Dr. Now about it and explain what happened. The one is SUPER sad. He is in later seasons. It is a real eye opening show. But I agree with several of the others. He is just giving it to them straight.
