Tuna Safety

I've recently discovered that eating cans of tuna is a cheap, simple, and effective way to hit my protein goals while maintaining a calorie deficit. I've also read conflicting reports about the safety of using tuna long term as a primary source of protein, mainly involving the toxic effects of consuming that much mercury. If anybody has any experience with this I'd appreciate your insight.

I've recently made this discovery as well. I have started eating a pack of tuna on the days I lift weights (3X/week). I found this link to be very helpful.

This is great, thanks a bunch. The formula there is pretty much exactly what I was hoping someone would comment with.

I would personally never eat more than 2-3 cans per week.
If you want to eat more, and you dont mind accumulating high amounts of mercury, then go for it.
