I use to use MyPlate about 5 years ago, and I used it for maybe 2 years, then I switched to here because the database was better, so was the app, and there is a lot more communication between users. In the 2-3 years I've been here though, it's getting worse all the time.

ETA: I just remember I left MyPlate because they updated a ton of stuff and it made the website horribly difficult to use, so maybe I can't even go back there now.

I verify a lot of stuff here: http://nutritiondata.self.com/

I think some items have regional differences to label data, I have seen items with lots of verifications that are don't match the label I am looking at. Maybe different suppliers and thus different nutritionals? I think that could explain how something could be verified one region and not be accurate in another. Just a guess!

    I'm on this train.

I'll cheer you on from a safe distance.

I absolutely hate the new entries in the database. It's so much harder now to find the accurate entries which have grams as an option :(

That absolutely does happen. Especially from country to country.
