Me. Finally under the barbell, in the new gym, and hopefully at or near maintenance. I'm not quite sure how slowly the last 10 pounds are going to go due to how the numbers work with my age and height, so I hesitate to proclaim I'll be there.

Bottom line? I know I'll be smaller, fitter, and stronger.

Sitting on my new screened in porch, drinking an iced coffee, looking at a lush garden, all relaxed having come back from the Y where I hit a new personal record in my DL. Oh, and spouse is fixing supper (ok, maybe that one is too much even for wishful thinking).

Get in it...go forwards in time a year...what do you see?

I will be a regular in the Maintaining subforum.

Still fitting in as much walking as possible because it makes me happy; doing more bodyweight exercises.

My wardrobe will be a lot different.

Strictly body goals? I will have been in maintenance for months and months. I will be working on recomping and I'm not sure where my body will be, other than lighter and tighter than it is today. (5'6", 137)

    Only 18?
A minimum daily intake of sugar from the WHO and FDA.
A documentary from Katie Couric called "Pooped Out: How too Much Fiber is Making You Fat".
A new group in MFP for the surge of Low Fiber High Sugar (LFHS) dieters.

Spurs will have won their 6th ring. I'll be older and wiser and weigh a little less.

I see myself maintaining my goal weight of 150 again (was there once a few years ago) I see myself teaching my own Zumba class. And I see me and my fiance (soon to be husband in less than a month!) Possibly trying for a 3rd child.

In a year I see myself on a weight gain journey. I hope to still use MFP but not probably not religiously (hopefully due to knowing without the app what i'm eating).

CA runs out of water. OR builds The Wall to stem the tide of immigration. President Clinton declares a national emergency due to the almond shortage. Mr_Knight goes on a low-carb diet, changes his name to Mr_Bishop, and starts preaching about hell-fire, damnation, and the evils of sugar. He spawns 18 threads in one day.

I'm still maintaining. I'm a bit leaner. I've mastered a few more Pilates moves. My 5k time is a bit better. And I'm completely done with the menopausal chaos. :D

Maintaining for 6 months or more. Picking more active plans over sitting and staring at screens.

    And so it begins...

My goals don't give me a choice. If it helps, I'm also low fat.
