 THIS! I swear this must be people's first periods.

Well this is not my first period lol but I never paid any attention to whether I gain weight around my time of the month until now.

I retain water like it's my full time job. It goes away quick enough. Just don't weigh yourself constantly :-)

haha me too. i should be a professional water retainer.

Is it normal to gain weight during ovulation?

Since I started weighing myself daily I learned that I gain around 3 pounds during the week around ovulation and then it all comes off in a woosh.

I don't gain during my TOM, but I will be up 3 or so pounds when ovulating. I actually use a period tracker too, and my graphs line up nicely. Lol.

Always. Anywhere from 2-5 lbs. Totally normal.

I'm there right now. Up almost 3 pounds. Can't wait for AF to get here because mid-week I'll lose it all. The amusing part is that now that I'm 50+ pounds lighter I can feel and see the bloat so much. When I had the extra weight I couldn't tell as much (like this morning when I stepped on the scale, looked down, and my belly was sticking out more...)
