If you like comics, I think you need a Power Nap.

yes. imo the best graphic novel evah
Wonderfully written. Illustrations are on point and display great use of idiom, allegory, along with a range of other techniques just in themselves.

I usually read webtoons/manga. This thread is making me want to read again. Those acceptable? :)

I started with shoujo but branched out to psychological thrillers...ones with unique story lines and epic battle, also different art. I think I was probably in the middle of reading a bunch and I can't even recall which ones.

Sometimes I pick up comics based on art alone :# Did that with Brom's. Like his art

I'm fairly certain this is the best short comic series ever.
Excellent story, and any time you can have Alex Ross painting every panel, you've got a winner!h6ai39jvuurr.jpg

The pic won't load for me, but I believe I know the Brom you're speaking of (and if so, great artist).
I've read some psychological/horror manga, and I enjoy them a lot, too. What keeps me with the shojo is that it's usually pretty happy, and it makes me happy, too! Feel-goodness all around lol
Anyway art matters to me a lot, too; not necessarily that I will purposely look for different art, but if I come across comics and the art interests me in a particular way, it pretty much always means I will check out at least the first issue to see if I like the story as well.
I would definitely support reading more again if you feel up to it! Reading is life.
