    Four little Barn Swallows hatched.
    They make a mess but every year swallows nest on that corner of my door.
    I think it’s generational.
    I love seeing them but will worry about them until I go out and see them all gone.
    One year I watched in horror as a woodpecker flew down and grabbed one and flew off with it screaming, I was traumatized.
    Nature can be brutal.

    Just saw an oriole trying to get into my hummingbird feeder. (It flew away as soon as I got closer.) That always says, "Spring has arrived" to me

    My ex’s grandmother gave us 6 Amaryllis bulbs that she dug up from her yard when she had to move from Lake Texoma to OKC, when we moved into our first house in 1984.
    They multiplied.
    We have dug them all up and moved them with us to 3 different houses since.
    Also given bulbs to family.
    There are hundreds of bulbs now.
    This is one row at ex’s, there are rows different sunny spots around the yard.
    I get a sentimental kick out of it. 💗

    Accompanied my mom to a luncheon at the country club.
    She had a good time seeing friends she no longer sees often.

    I felt young. 😂

    I got to pet the new therapy puppy in training at work as I was leaving! Perfect ending to a great work day and now have the next five days off!
