Is it do-able? I'm trying to burn fat. I'm 5'8", 151 pounds and in the healthy BMI range.

Doable - yes, suggested - debatable. I used to NET 1237 when I did intense training so I made sure I had enough calories so I was actually taking in anywhere from 1300 to 2000 depending on my workout. It can definitely be done but you may find yourself a)hungry b)tired and/or c)unable to push yourself to the max0

While it can certainly be done. You may need to eat back some of your exercise calories if you start feeling low on energy.0

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. With your stats and normal activity (work, school, friends, pets) you should be eating 2000 plus.

If you need to lose an extreme amount of weight in a short period of time, I suppose it's doable, but if fitness and performance are also of importance, I would suggest eating more calories.0
