Hello, everyone! I am just learning how to ride, and so rather than miles I will aim simply to ride three or more days per week.0

Well small maybe large set back. I had another tire blowout. Second it 3 weeks. I'm guessing it is because of my 335 lbs weight. Two bike shops suggested a higher psi and slightly larger tire. So I'm trying that but the tires won't be in until Friday. So I got 8 in yesterday but nothing more until this weekend. I'm still going to keep my goal assuming I get tires on Friday but we will see.

I got all motivated to go for a bike ride but what did I do...? I turned on my computer.
All right. This is it. Off goes the computer. I am just going to unplug it. I am going for a bike ride!0 -

I've been there so let me mention a few things to do here.
What are your flats coming from? In order to resolve, you MUST find this out. Is it a puncture going through the tire and in to the tube? A rock or a thorn or shard of glass? Did you inspect the inside wall of the tire to make sure the penetrant is no longer there?
Could it be the rim tape inside of the wheel? This was my problem until I added velox cloth rim tape. At that weight, make sure your tires are always properly inflated to avoid pinch flats.
Don't take this the wrong way because I once weighed 315 but at your current weight the bigger concern is making sure you aren't breaking spokes, the flat tires can certainly be resolved so don't give up hope.0 -

March Cycling: 409.33 km (254.34 miles) = 21 hours 55 min
April Cycling: 384.15 km (238.7 miles) = 20 hours 35 min
May Cycling: 259.06 km (160.9 miles) + 45 min cycling inside
June Cycling Inside: 215 minutes on bicycle on trainer in basement = 3 hours 35 min
June Cycling Outside: 493.53 km (306.6 miles) in 1531 min cycling outside = 25 hours 31 min
July Cycling: 130 km in 405 min (6 hours 45 min) + 280 min cycling indoors (4 hours 40 min)
Goal ... more than July.
Aug 1 - chilly (9C) and windy (30 km/h gusting to 57 km/h) with a "feels like" temp of about 5C and a little blast of sleet just to keep things interesting.
And we cycled 38.5 km up the cycleway and back on our Thorn touring bicycles.
So looking forward to summer!!
Aug 8 - 27.93 km bicycle ride outside (85 min) ... and I even took it up to top speed once!
Aug Cycling: 66.4 km in 208 min + 0 min cycling indoors
Friday 14 August -- 60 min on the trainer (cycling indoors).
Saturday 15 August -- 12.95 km on a local "rail trail" of sorts. They pulled up the track by 1934 and I think the remaining trail just sat there for quite a few years after that before they finally made a mtn bike track out of it.
Kaoota Tramway | Greater Hobart Trails
It starts with a steep climb from where you park your car to the actual start of the track, but once you're on the track, the grade is not bad. The trail is in fairly decent conditions but does require a person to pay attention ... there are rocky bits and muddy bits, and 101 small tree branches to lodge themselves in a rear wheel.
But it was a good ride! Something a little different.
Sunny but quite chilly.
