Hi!
I have recently started the clean gut diet. I suffer from rosacea and was informed it my help with my flare ups. Has anyone tried the diet and if so what was your outcome?

I recently developed Rosacea after taking way too many atrong antibiotics (bad allergic reaction as well). So, it's interesting that some doctors are saying that Rosacea can be caused by an imbalance in the microbiome of the gut. I don't know what the clean gut diet is. My Rosacea (flushing) is triggered by foods. I have had to change my diet. And so far it's working. Also avoid heat and reduce stress. I tried the Gut Balance Revolution sort of. But, fermented foods started triggering the flushing (just like alcohol). I am taking probiotic supplement instead for now. I have cut out all my triggers and common triggers for the most part. Wheat is one of my triggers (it's given me hives as well). This all just started a few months ago. I hope I can get my skin back to normal. It was very healthy and clear. It's not so bad now, but struggling with the flushing and stuff. I don't know what facewash to use either. I have so many allergies. I have sensitive, oily skin. I am allergic to the flowers that people use to treat Rosacea (like chamomile and feverfew).

Found out I am histamine intolerant from the antibiotics.

Actually my injury was from being wrongly prescribed mirvaso. It causes histamine reactions. I don't have a systemic histamine intolerance. It's rare anyway. I was tested. I just didn't realize at first it was from Mirvaso because I didn't know the side effects (I never would have used it if I had known). I did take antibiotics and had an allergic reaction. But, it was the Mirvaso that destroyed my life by causing severe nerve pain in mu face and eyes. Trying to recover (for 4 months and counting). I used it three times. But, all my symptoms started 48 hours after first use. It made my face pale for 48 hours and then it's been a living nightmare since then.

Fermented, 'living' food is a great way to put good bacteria in your gut!
