Hi...I'm new to this forum and pretty much love it. I started my weight loss journey last July and I'm down 15 lbs. My starting weight was 219 and I'm now 207. My goal weight is 160. What are your numbers and goal weight
Congrats on your weight loss, doing good!
When I was in my mid twenties, my highest weight was 220 or thereabouts.
I lost weight and got to 175 but quickly gained it back to about 195.
Fluctuated between 175 and 195 for several years.
About 12 years ago, I decided I was done. I signed up with a trainer at the gym, who taught me how to log my food and count calorie and weight lift. I got down to about 155.
Gained 30 pounds back to 185 over a five year period.
In 2013 knew I needed to get back into counting calories again, but didn't want to do it by hand, which I found MFP. I quickly learned all the tools and started on my weigh loss journey. I got down to about 140 and have been maintaining for a year and a half.
I currently weigh about 140, which is where I want to stay for awhile. I am thinking of cutting about 5 vanity pounds, or doing a body recomp. I'm not sure which yet.0 -

I got down to 137 but i didnt like the way my face looked . I had a goal to have a 6 pack but at 137 i had a good 2 pac and barely visable 4 pac. I may try again over the winter0 -

Started mid-Feb 2015.
Reached first goal of -15kg by mid-June.
Took a break for about a month.
Decided to tackle second goal and started about mid-July.
Down 4 kg more so far.
Total lost so far ... 19 kg putting me pretty close to the middle of my normal BMI range.
I will reassess at the end of September.0 -
