My day started off with a torn contact lens. Then got a call from the dealership where my husband left his car for some repairs. His car and two dozen others were vandalized on the lot last night (smashed drivers' side window...fortunately he hadn't left anything of value in the car.) Then I get a call that my son's middle school is on lockdown due to a fatal shooting in the adjacent neighborhood (the killer is still at large). Wondering what's next. Oh yeah...we're in the "cone of uncertainty" for Erika.

Oh my gosh! that is beyond scary! I'm not sure what else to say, but just pray for they safety of you and your family and everyone around.

It is Friday, and I'm ready for a dang drink! I wish it was payday today, but nope. Really sucks. I'm happy to not have to work my second job tonight, but I am working it this entire weekend. Other than that I'm ready for 4:35 to escape my office and go hang out with my family tonight.

There's a small hole near the arm of the shirt I'm wearing which I knew when I put it on but new shirts aren't going to buy themselves. When someone just pointed it out to me I was like "OMG that sucks I didn't even realize!" I'll still wear it again.

Today is going well. Last night I went out drinking with my friends and was still able to stay under my calorie goal, plus I didn't drink anywhere near enough to have a hangover. I got up, showered, and walked to work. I just finished pre-logging all the calories I will ingest during the work day.

I managed to accidentally gluten myself, so today I have spent in the bathroom. I'll probably still be here tomorrow. If anyone can send in some water, a blanket, Imodium and some Gluten Free toast or crisps to aid my recovery, it'll be greatly appreciated. I will no doubt be well under my calories today.

Today was good overall. I made crock pot bbq pulled chicken, played video games, and hung out alone at the house while my fiancee worked and my roommates were out of town. I hit a slight snag tonight though when I decided to check my work email and read an infuriating email from a customer, but I'm trying to push it out of my mind.

Good day! Church in morning. In afternoon helped my daughter clean the apartment she is moving out of. We had pizza, but I only ate one piece. My husband and I looked at a great used car that he found on Craig's list, took it for a test drive, and thinking about buying it if we can get the owner to reduce the price some. It will replace the 1997 car I am driving now.

Today was awesome. I went to the gym this morning and did a full body workout and cardio...

Relaxed at home and then went to the pool for about an hour or so with my son.

    Weekends are sublime. :sunglasses:

So far today has gone like - alarm, snooze, alarm, snooze, alarm, sex, snuggle, shower, drive to work, work, lunch workout and sandwich, work. I'll be working in garden after work until dark, then lock up the chickens, heat leftovers from yesterdays cookout for dinner in front of the TV, then off to bed soon after.

I worked from about 8:30 to 5pm, so not too long. After that a buddy and I went to a sports bar to get a few drinks and play a few rounds of pool. Then I came home and helped my fiancee get stuff together that we're going to be selling. Now I'm lying in bed, tired but not wanting to go to sleep yet.

I'm still in my robe, but already working...lol..joys of a home office...hubs is snoring away 4 feet from me, and I'm betting the rest of the day will be pretty much the same, other than getting dressed!

I've already taken the boy to skating lessons and now I'm waiting for hubs to wake up so we can get brunch. Today will be better than yesterday since I got sad news yesterday. Although today I do have to see my mother in law but the fact I could tear up at any second might make her not criticize me as much

Inconvenient. I have one e cig battery that's basically burnt out. I can't will myself to exercise. I'm mad at people and they don't care or want to change. I just want to lay in bed and close my eyes and wish everything was different.

It's 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday. First thing this morning I spent two hours grading an online discussion for a class I teach and preparing discussion responses for an online project management class I'm taking. (Boring, but necessary for a certification I want to get.) The highlight of the morning was the two 30-minute walks I took with my beagles (I have four and walk them two at a time). It's a cold but clear and sunny day here and the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning covered in snow. We've been in a horrendous drought, so the snow is quite welcome. Fed the dogs, did some goofy low-impact aerobics, did a little upper-body workout with weights, and boiled a dozen eggs. Now I'm going to veg for a while. Hope you all in MFP-land are having a fabulous weekend.
