Also, I learned that greasing it more often (every 2-3 months) with that thick black 'lubricating' grease from the hardware store will help, too. Don't forget to add grease where the main upright shaft fits down over the connecting piece, and also, grease the bolts.

^^ This^^ Sewing machine oil is very thin and doesn't stay put on the moving parts for very long.You can also try a Teflon based spray.

Mine squeks sometimes. I take a damp cloth and wipe the plastic rollers to remove any buildup, then I wipe the bars they roll on. I then spray some silicon spray lightly on the bars and take a dry cloth to wipe them leaving a small amount of silicon coating them. Takes the squeak out quickly and usually stays away for a few uses, then clean and lubricate again. I went to the manufacturers web site and ordered the silicon spray, its cheap and lasts forever.
