I so agree with this. Honestly, I would not have believed there were so many people with so little nutrition knowledge if I'd never joined this site. It is mind blowing.0 -
Like everything else context counts. To someone who needs to lose 100+ pounds, low calorie may very well be a healthier option, and vice versa of course. Before you can ever determine what is and what is not healthy, you always have to ask, "for who?" first...0

I feel like I see way more threads crusading about how low calorie does not equal healthy than I see posts suggesting calories are the only measure of health. Like, such a strong response to something that I don't see being that prevalent.
Don't get me wrong, I know some people start off with a more typical, calorie restrictive diet mindset that may involve a lot of frozen entrees and 100-calorie packs but.. so what? There's a learning curve with this stuff. If everyone was capable of just eating smaller portions of healthy food all the time right off the bat, most of us wouldn't be here. Sometimes I like to eat egg whites because they have fewer calories than whole eggs. Other times I eat whole eggs. WHO CARES??0 -
Still love my 100 calorie packs LOL0
