Well, those are not what I had in mind but good choices. The Aretha song is Chain of Fools.

Probably too obscure, I was thinking of IN The Heat of the Night. Movie was on the other night, and the song was in my head. Good job, someone take it.

This was playing on iHeart 70s. Struggling with a coherent clue.

    Flame + next season / female sheep + (s - 1 ) + the + female human = [band/song]

Again, going solely on the strength of the clue...

    Firefall / use(d) woman?

Correct band. A "ewe" is a female sheep, and the first word sounds like that. The last word in the title is "woman".

    I guess it's mostly down to what I'm looking for with (s - 1).

    Flame + next season / female sheep + (s - 1 ) + the + female human = [band/song]

2-way mash-up. I'll provide the 2 artists (in order) and you have to provide the 2 connecting songs.
There may be more than one answer since The Beatles have quite a few songs.

    1. Donovan
    2. Beatles

OOOhhhhh. I had to look for a Donovan song. Of course I know a bunch, but was drawing a blank.

    1. Mellow Yellow
    2. Yellow Submarine
