I realize this next one may be somewhat subjective but I wanted to try something a little different. I apologize in advance if my explanation of the rules don’t help much...
    Borrowed or Coincidence?
Below are a list of artists/groups (2 for each number) with songs that are so similar in structure (intro, rhythm, beat, etc), that one might suggest they were “borrowed” for inspiration. Your job is to name both similar songs for each number. An example would be:
“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “The ABC’s”

    1. Queen/Vanilla Ice
    2. Boston/Nirvana
    3. John Mellencamp/Tracy Chapman
    4. Madonna/Lady Gaga
    5. Huey Lewis And The News/Ray Parker Jr.

And I take exception to the Pressure/Ice reference.
Let's listen as Vanilla Ice breaks it down in his own defense https://youtu.be/a-1_9-z9rbY

#3 is also correct. I actually remember watching this video and Vanilla Ice’s classic defense of the difference between his song and Freddie/David’s song. And then he appeared in Ninja Turtle movies...

Correct, you’re up @deckerp since you got 3 out of 5.
FYI - #4 was “Express Yourself” (Madonna) and “Born This Way” (Lady Gaga).

Current song on Classic AT40 countdown from 01/31/1981. Some of the clues sound like what I'm looking for.
