Little Mix is the only one I couldn't get. Actually never heard of them. You stay current @deckerp

Not at all current. That was pure research.

    But speaking of Wings.

Speaker's own affection + Musical group moving faster than a walk + Flying machine + Stupid Affectionate Ditties = [Some of my favorite songs by Wings]

    Magic -- Pilot

I keep so up to date I know that Selena Gomez did a cover of this.

This one may take some research. Song from 1975, like Magic, with a much more recent unrelated song of the same name.

Bazuka + Maroon 5 = [same song title / different song]

I cheated. I had to look it up. The song is called DYNOMITE. I remember the one from the '70s... and the catch phrase from JJ Walker on Good Times tv show. I think there was a portable 8-track player with that name, as well. I remember the commercial. The player had a plunger on top, kind of like an explosive denotator.

Not surprisingly, I never heard of Taio Cruz.

When I hear the 1970's song, it reminds me of the novelty record called MR. JAWS. DYNOMITE is used in that record. I used to like those kind of records, when they played them on AM. There was a very popular novelty record called CONVENTION '72. That's the first one I ever heard of. I don't know if it's the one that started them off...

Anyway, they are kind of cool. Sort of a time capsule of the era.

Here is MR. JAWS, for your enjoyment:

    Correct.

I remember Mr. Jaws for sure. I don't think I ever heard anything else by Bazuka or Taio Cruz, but the Cruz song was pretty catchy.

There used to be a feature segment by a local disc jockey called Great Opening Lines. The DJ would quote the opening lines from a song and listeners would call in and guess the song (and probably win a fabulous prize). This was way before the internet and Google, so it was a little more challenging back then. Anyway, here goes (sans the fabulous prize):

    “Told you once before
And I won't tell you no more”

    Gilbert O'Sullivan -- Get Down

If that's the name of the song. I did this without Yahoo (I always try to avoid Google, just because :) ).

Yup. That’s the song and the artist. Good job. Catchy tune.

4-way mash-up (see spoiler for definition). I'll provide the 4 artists (in order) and you have to provide the 4 connecting songs.
    Definition:
    Mashup: MA` sh * up: (n)
The would-be song if two artists mashed their titles together
    Example:
Artist: George Gerswin and Elvis =
Song: I can't give you anything but LOVE Me tender

    1. Warren Zevon
    2. Eagles
    3. Rod Stewart
    4. Bob Seger

Warren Zevon stumped me, (so I cheated)
Actually not familiar with that song. I liked it. I must expand beyond my Warren Zevon’s Greatest Hits. Great songwriter.

    1. The Heartache

For #1, I was actually looking for “Keep Me in Your Heart” but technically, you’re correct and you’re up!

And a good remake by George Michael.
