    I researched the "Friend of Bill" reference. That's a new one to me, but still not sure what the song is. The band could be Queen, but I don't think that would be limited to "after the war".

    I found Robert Smith is with The Cure. I'm not familiar with their stuff. Maybe that'll help someone or mislead them since the first part was the song?

    I found Peek-A-Boo Records is a small record company in Texas, but I'm still not getting anywhere with it.

    My first thought for Peek-A-Boo was The Babys.

    Maybe Back On My Feet Again by The Babys since someone who is cured might be back on their feet again?
