I just heard this on the AT40 from 1971.

The band name is the blank word in the title to a TV series from 1967-68, a western. The band spelled it differently from the TV series though. This may be a repeat from a year or more ago.

Lawn fowls- Iron horse, zero delta-v
Lets' see... think of another word for Lawn and another word for Fowl(s). English rock band, 60's.
The last hint triggered the band for me. Duh. Guessing on the song.

Bill Murray could've said this, in Groundhog Day / "The Handyman(s)", not the sea mammal, in Lewis Carroll's poem= song/artist
