(assuming anyone can jump in..apologies if I jumped out of turn)

Here's an easy one (I think)

    Singers * ("Lawyers in Love"+"You are my lady"+"Thriller") + Musical Hosts * (American Idol + MTV VeeJay) = ?

The normal process is for the person to answer correctly gives the next question. We're always glad to add more folks to the thread though.

I think the Singers portion of yours must be Jacksons. I'm still working on the Musical Hosts.

Are you looking for a song in that second half?

    Your so close...!!

you've got the biggest piece of the puzzle..Jackson.

    I'll throw in this:
    Singers: 3 jacksons
    +
American Idol Host = Randy Jackson
MTV Veejay = ? (the oldest one of the original 5

Nina Blackwood sounds the oldest but it could just be the cigarettes. Wikipedia says the oldest of the originals was Mark Goodman.

Would that mean answer is something like 3 Jacksons + Randy + Goodman?

@deckerp , hmm shows what wiki knows.. they all started at the same time and another was older (as in years of age) than the rest.

Had to do more research. I found J.J. Jackson is "older than the rest" at 62.

I guess that makes all the pieces Jackson.
