    Exercise it off

    It is just fuel

    Use it up

If you bust behind and work it off

You may be less likely to do it again

^You don't have to do this, and it is OK to go over calories every once in a while. Just don't do it often.

Yep. Just accept, log, move on, and carry on. :)

@minties82 yes that is what I meant, you are 100% correct. Thanks!

@OsricTheKnight cool stuff! I'm going to share the graph with my husband, he too is on MFP and is just as serious about it as I am ☺️

And to everyone else that wrote a helpful/insightful comment, honestly thank you. You're experience will help me on this journey, and I'm sure has helped/will help many more!

    Forget about it :]
These things happen, you're a human being remember?

Log it and remember, tomorrow is a new day and a fresh set of calories.

    3500 calories = 1 pound.

    Losing 1.5 pound a week = 750 calories deficit a day.

1000 extra calories = peanuts. You'll make up for it in less than 2 days.

Just do the math = that's why I log everything. You'll notice that it's never as much of a big deal as you believe, and you can just keep going without thinking that you ruined your week (so might as well give up or something).
