Ok I have an issue with post work outs for i dont eat after.. well most of the time. that being because most of my work outs cardio etc is done later at night when iget the kids to bed. I have cut myself off of eating that late. But with doing and hour or two of cardio and weight training ive been told i need protein to help muscles heal and grow. Any good help on ideas of what to have?? I just dont want a full belly before bed.

    Bowl of Greek yogurt,
Protein drink, I do it with water, not as filling.
    Slice of toast with PB
    Oatmeal
    Boiled egg and toast.
    Protein bar.

All I can think of for now.

    Cheers, h.

Something Quick like banana then once you get home have a shake and peanut butter and call it a night. Or if you are leanent on your macros. Some almond milk and a serving of protein cherros will work just fine. With a serving of almonds or peanuts.

Post workout nutrition is largely irrelevant for all but elite level competition athletes.

You don't need to take in protein post work out, instead meet your goals throughout the day, and don't stress it.

That. When you get in your nutrients is mostly irrelevant. Your body is efficient enough to take what it needs when it needs it from what you've eaten.
