I've added pumpkin puree to peanut butter to lighten it up. On toast it wasn't bad because the texture is hidden. Depending on how much you add its not bad. I've done it with apple sauce and mushed bananas, too. Pumpkin is great to use as a filler just like any summer squash.

    That sounds super tasty.
I will note I didn't add pumpkin spices but it works, too. Puree just diluted the PB so it wasn't all the calories just to spread on toast.

I made a pumpkin spice green smoothie this morning by just adding 1/4 cup pumpkin and pumpkin spice to my regular green smoothie. Yum - but a bit thick maybe add some extra liquid next time.

Pumpkin spice yogurt doesn't sound too bad actually. Bread, I can eat nearly any flavor of bread.

I had the chobani this morning for breakfast, it is soo good!

I had the Trader Joe's one on Weetabix. Really liked it.

    PUMPKIN ALL THE THINGS.

Seriously though, I don't care about pumpkin spice. I want PUMPKIN in that stuff. Not just the spices. So I don't buy most of them because really, it has no pumpkin (looking at you, Quaker oatmeal).

I have to say that I really like the Thomas pumpkin English muffins. And Trader Joe's pumpkin caramel kringle... and their pumpkin pecan oatmeal.

I'm all over the Cheesecake Factory pumpkin pecan cheesecake, honestly.

But I haven't seen that much pecan pie stuff. Just the Cliff bars last year (which were good).

Same. I don't like actual pecan pie, but I've been hankering for pecan pie flavors

The calories are ridiculous for pecan pie and I think I could be satisfied with a pecan pie flavor with fewer calories. Last Thanksgiving I used the majority of my calories on pecan pie! Thanks for the idea!

I've been enjoying Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream. Does that count?
I did see Kashi pumpkin spice bars today when I was out. Would have purchased if the protein content was better.

It counts. I love the Turkey Hill and Talenti pumpkin pie flavors!
  • Oh, the pumpkinized Chobani Flip is really good. It contains actual pumpkin. I needs to get me more of that.

This sounds wonderful, I'm going to look for it. For now I have NF/NS pumpkin spice coffee creamer and bought a can of pumpkin puree. I'm planning to make a smoothie with the puree for tomorrow.

You guuuys! I'm so jealous of you all - I live in Australia and while some American flavours have made it here, pumpkin spice isn't ANYWHERE. I need to figure out how to make a DIY blend (pumpkin is easy to find, just expensive because it's the wrong time of year).

While this isn't technically 'pumpkin spice', it's not bad... although I'd lie if I said that it was amazing. Probably because I got spoiled by some fantastic glazed donut bread pudding from a local shop last week.
