    This is a great breakdown in my opinion if you are exercising 4-6 hours a week. If not you would want to cut back. I have lost 30+ pounds and gone from 30% to 19% body fat doing this.

    •1.2 grams of protein per pound of body weight, per day
    •1 gram of carbohydrate per pound of body weight, per day
    •0.2 grams of fat per pound of body weight, per day (increase to 0.25 if you have a fast metabolism)

    Higher protein in a calorie deficit will help you maintain and even build some muscle if you work out. However in general yes you can eat anything in a calorie deficit and lose weight.

    That's way more protein than we need. That would have me eating 182g. I don't think that our body can process that much in a day.

    I do agree that she is low, but your number is crazy high.
