For the third I guess it would depend on where the fire was on if I grabbed my laptop or tablet.
Honestly I love my cats to death and wouldn't want to give them up for nothing, that being said I am not sure if my house was on fire I would take the time to track their butts down, especially if they were hiding
You would grab your phone before your pets? Wow. You and I are very, very different. I'd probably die myself before I left them behind.0 -
-Money/wallet (since my wallet has my IDs and such)
-My laptop (so many work files!)
-iPod (gotta have my music!)0 -
My guns, my stash-cash, and my phone... to call my lawyer.

(Add me, I clearly need the help!)0 -
I know as I read this I thought wow that was really awful sounding. After rethinking that I would save my kitties as well. My mom is always giving me a hard time to "just get rid of them" because its costs to much to buy food and crap. And I tell her I can't do that they are like kids...so in truth I probably would go back for them, not sure who I thought I was kidding...LOL0

1. My sons blanket that he's had since before he was born.
2. A stuffed animal (frog) that I gave to my Husband when we were teenagers. He carried it around for 15 years, until he found me again on FB. It now sits on my end table.
3. My purse0 -

My brother's house burned down a year ago. Faulty wiring in the bedroom. He and his wife were out. They lost everything, including their two dogs and cat.
I have a box of drawings from my daughter that are irreplaceable.
My emergency bag (I have one packed for this exact reason)
My daughter's favorite stuffed animal that she's had since birth that she sleeps with every night0 -
Photos
Laptop
Books
In reality, I couldn't possibly get all of them, though. I hope I never have to worry about it!0 -
My phone
My laptop
The soft toys I sleep with (I'm counting them as one because there's no way I could choose!). One I've had since I was born and had been sleeping with for every single night up until now. The second one my grandma gave me who has passed away now, and it has a note in it that my best friend who I have not seen in ages had wrote and stuck inside (it's in need desperate need of stitching up....)0 -

Those last 2 hold every pic that is up in our house, like every pic that has documented the lives of my children.0 -

Assuming my guns & gold are in a fireproof safe, then I'm grabbing
purse (cell is in it)
tablet
laptop
(All my pix are digitized. Everything else can be replaced or is in the safe.)
ETA: but gosh I wish I could get the 4 Harleys out too.0 -
anything with photos in or on them including albums, hard drive, computer... then my camera, and any cash we have because credit cards, id's and social security cards can be replaced0
-
My mountain bike (customised paint job that would not be covered by insurance!)
My vintage soft toys (had them since I was born and very rare and difficult to replace)
Laptop (got to save the Phd!)0 -
Phone.
Boyfriend's class ring (a gift from his late grandfather, and my most treasured item).
New gaming computer (I haven't even finished paying it off yet).0 -
This thread is making me paranoid that my house is going to catch on fire
A lot of my family's photos are in bulky, old albums so they would be gone
I would grab my phone, purse and laptop if it wasn't near the fire (keep it near the kitchen).0 -
Cell Phone
Wallet
Lockbox (Emergency cash and all of my important documents.)0 -
Having had two house fires, I know the answer. Nothing.
But, hypothetically:
A. Engagement ring
B. the safe
C. Purse0
