Hi gang, I am eating the Smart for Life protien bars as a snack nt a meal replacement, while keeping my calories in a deficit. Is this a dumb idea? or should I be using these as a true meal replacement? Any advice?

I'm 6'4", 262lbs

If it fits within your goals, why would it be a problem? It sounds perfectly fine to me, though I am not familiar with the bars.

I have a protein bar as a snack almost every day. It fits within my calories and gives a bit of a boost to my protein goal for the day.
Nothing wrong with it as long as it's not causing you to go over your calorie allowance.

Oh I love the smart for life bars crumbled in yogurt with a bit of fruit. It is my late night top up if my cals or protien are short.
Also have them in the car for snacks. I find they are a lot less filling than a lot of the bars, so I can eat one without feeling too full for my next meal.

So, yes, OK for a snack.

    Cheers, h.
