Our dusting of snow is all gone. Maybe I'll go squirt some mayo outside to look like snow

We'll force everyone to participate in a huge musical ride!

Oh funny story...downtown they have the local police on horses and some tourist turned to her friend and was like "omg that's one of those Mounties". Um ya he's mounted on horse but he's not a "mountie"

If so, New York is swarming with Mounties.

    nyc-mounted-police.jpg

    Mounties, loonies, twonies.

Have you noticed how fast Canadians embrace oddity? Like, how long did it take for our dollar coin to become the "loonie"? Which led, logically enough, for the two dollar coin to become the "twonie".

And here the Americans are stuck with no dollar coin, a penny that costs two cents to produce, and denominations that all look alike.

Are we odd or do we just do everything the smart way? Isn't it easier to say loonie than dollar coin?
