Ketosis reading of 5.0mmol/l! Help!

Its 5pm and ive just tested my blood and its read 5.0mmol/l which is aparently starvation ketosis!
I am on the ketogenoc diet but i understand this reading is not going to help me lose weight! What can i do to get my blood ketones back down to the optimal ketone reading?

Eat something? Maybe something with carbs in it?0

I went to look at your diary, but it's not public, so I can't give specific advice. The quickest way to lower your ketones is to slowly introduce some carbs (too many will dump you fully out of ketosis, which is NOT what you want), but if you aren't type 1 diabetic, the charts aren't the same as the commonly available charts - and so the freak out fear moment needs not be pure panic.
