If you had 3000+ calories to consume, what would you splurge on?

On Sunday I'm running a half marathon and I will have a bunch of extra calories to consume so I'm going to splurge a little. I'm thinking pizza and beer. What would you splurge on?

3000 calories would be for a cut, but if I could actually splurge it would probably be as much chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with chocolate ice cream as I could manage. With milk.0

Cheese. Just everything cheesy I could get my hands on. Possibly an entire block of cheddar, possibly dipped in Brie.0

I would be miserable for days if I ate 3,000kcal of anything, but I'd make room for a savory bean pasty, some candied nuts, or a slice of my grandma's spice cake.0

My immediate thought was "chocolate!!!" but I "splurge" on something chocolaty pretty much every day (just in moderation and within my target). So I would probably splurge it on some kind of oven potato dish, with cheese. Yum!0

A thick, marbalized rare cut of steak.
A worthy, warm roll of bread with butter.
A baked potato with the works.
Enjoy whatever you decide on. Much deserved.0 -
Definitely pizza and ice cream. Maybe some mac and cheese. One of those Hostess cherry pies.0
-
Ice cream.0

I would just slather peanut butter on everything I normally eat. 3000 calories of peanut butter!0

I eat pizza regularly so that wouldn't be a splurge for me. A splurge would be a huge Mexican meal with lots of cheese and dessert for dinner. Plus a nice brunch. That would do it for my day.0

Mexican fiesta with lots of chips and guac/salsa, margaritas and probably fajitas with lots of cheese.0

Pizza and beer sounds good for a splurge. I eat both fairly regularly but not 3000 calories worth. Baby back ribs might beat that out though. I eat those much more rarely than pizza.0

This is exactly what I would have!0 -
Whatever I'm craving. Right now it would probably be a piece of pumpkin pecan cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. Other days it would be pizza.0
-
Portillo's Chocolate Cake Shake with cheese fries on the side...pizza and beer sounds like a solid idea, too.0
-
A platter of Mexican food or some good-tasting terrible-for-you Chinese take out0
-
3k is basically maintenance for me, but it would probably be pizza, garlic breadsticks, and a donut.0
-
24 ounce ribeye, Baked potatoe with everything, lobster 8 ounce with lots of butter0
-
Probably sushi!!!0

I just ran a 1/2 last Sunday and had little appetite after; only ate about 1/2 of the finisher food that was provided. I ordered a pizza and snacked on that most of the day and had cereal for dinner. Ended up with almost 900 calories left on Sunday
I did eat over maintenance a few days during the week so my weekly total ended up right at maintenance.0 -
Post half marathon food is the best. After my first half marathon, I had a chicken puffy taco plate and margaritas for brunch and then a whole pizza for dinner. After my last half marathon, I had a burger, fries, and beer for brunch and then all you can eat Korean BBQ for dinner.0

steak, wine, potato with cheese and sour cream or lots of Mexican food!!0

A half marathon is only going to burn between 1000 and 1200 calories. Careful with that "3000 extra" thought.0 -

She didn't say 3,000 extra, she just said 3000+ to consume. I took it for the whole day...and 1,800-2,000 seems like a perfectly reasonable daily calorie goal, for a smaller deficit or maintenance, depending on what she's got going on.
Anyway. I'd have margaritas and....I don't know. Pizza, or maybe steak fajitas, or maybe a reasonable portion of loaded french fries? And if I had any room at all left over (calories- or stomach-wise), I'd have a mini caramel oreo milkshake from Sonic.0 -
Chinese food, cheesecake and a chocolate lava fudge cake. And some twisted tea if there's room.0
-
Best post-half marathon meal I ever had was a bacon cheeseburger with an egg on it, a side of fries, and a shake.0

Thanksgiving dinner?
Maybe a shake and cheeseburger with fries?
Or a bowl of guacamole and chips?
I don't know. That is a lot more calories than I usually have but I'm sure I'think of something tasty.0 -
