Need to tone up?

I am at a healthy weight for my height range (5'8 130 lbs) but I still wish I could tone up. I swim every single day and eat 1200 calories a day but it doesn't seem to help any. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think a strength training program is what your looking for . Google new rules of lifting for women. Or stronglifts both are good ! ( I like nrol better though)
PS I'm 5'8 -135so we are similar stats

This.
And you're swimming and eating at a deficit. That's not how you "tone up". If you're in a healthy weight range you need to eat at maintenance and lift.0 -
Have you looked into recomposition? It sounds like it might be more what you're looking for: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10177803/recomposition-maintaining-weight-while-losing-fat0
