I would suggest you think of keeping your processed carbs below 20 grams- under 50 total to achieve ketosis
While I think Adkins recommends he first two weeks with no fruit etc if you are going to work out you will need the boost.
1-yes some not all some are really high in carbs limit quantity daily
    2-yes most
    3-yes most
4-not sure- just not my thing

Are you an American or Canadian ? ie does the 20 grams include or exclude "fiber" ?

    1. Only low carb berries or similar to live within 20 grams
    2. Yes but watch the quantity. 10 or 20 is a portion.
    3. As with fruit you can't fit high starch or sugar veg into 20g so broccoli, cauliflower, green beans etc are best and potato is out
    4. Yes, the digestible carbohydrate content is small but the fibre is high and appears as "Total carbs" on American labelling. Oil and hence calorie content is substantial.

I am American but I am doing 20grams net so after I deduct the fiber

I do 80 grams of carbs or so unless exercise volume requires more. Carbs are a great high octane fuel to ingest a little of during and slightly before a workout

Fruits - I eat just a little fruit. Mainly pineapple. Love that stuff

Nuts - good but sneaky high calorie !!!

Veggies - fibrous veggies are awesome. I eat lots

I make chia flax seed pudding for breakfast daily. Yummy stuff

    Just a word to consider

    Calories

Some say you don't need to count calories on low carb. I think you do. I have to and have lost weight on an 80 or so carb diet with a calorie deficit

Nothing magic about low carb. The high fibrous vegetables seem to make it work. Very filling for hours.

Calorie deficit on the diet type of your choice will work.

    Low carb works for me.

    Good luck!

I keep my carbs around 20g. I'll answer your questions for me:
    1. Not much. Probably berries only. I only have fruit a couple of times per month
    2. Yes. I eat them almost every day.
    3. Yes but less of root veggies ( carrots, beets, turnips, onions, etc). I skip potatoes and yams.
    4. I don't. You probably could in small amounts. I have no ideas about their carb grams.
