Hi all!!! I have over 100 pounds to lose. I will not give up because of the progress I see so far. I have lost 40 pounds and still going strong. I started the end of July 2015 and continued faithfully on my journey taking pictures every month to stay on track. Honestly speaking, I could not see the results from just looking in the mirror. The pictures made me see the work I was putting in. I just want to let everyone know, that it can be done. If you are just starting your journey and are doubtful of change and progress, I hope that this post will help that doubt. You can do it. MFP has plenty of motivational people and groups that you can join. Good luck on your journey everyone and please wish me luck on mine.

Dang, girl! You are killing it! Thanks for the motivation. I've only lost about 35 lbs and I still have a way to go.

I started going to the gym 5 days a week only for 30 minutes doing cardio only until I realized the importance of strength training. So basically I'm in the gym now anywhere from 5-7 days a week at least an hour. Hope that helps

I stay motivated by just the outcome. I can walk longer distances, I can exercise longer, I no longer have things like heart burn after eating, I no longer have swollen feet I'm no longer bloated. Things like that keeps me pushing and of course the pictures. You may add me as a friend for meal ideas and exercise ideas if you would like to. Good luck on your journey.

Great job!! You look great! Glad you are staying motivated! :)
I take weekly pictures full body pictures, but don't share them, but I post on Facebook everyday that I do a workout with just a self shot and an index card of where I am on my health and fitness journey. It definitely has kept me motivated!

Wow.....!! I just started yesterday, 158 lbs is what I want to lose, then see how i feel/look. Scares me to go to the gym though, but maybe I can work out in the home. You have inspired me to exercise not just a couple times a week but maybe 5 times a week!

Starting off just going to the gym a few times a week is not bad at all. Anything is better than nothing. Good luck on your journey

I also do intermittent fasting. It's a group on here that explains what that is for the people that don't know. It works wonders
