a BMI of 19, with your periods affected, is too low for your body
Your period can be affected for many reasons, stress for example. Unless you are a doctor who has personally examined her, that's a broad brush to paint with. There could be other factors going on too (pregnancy. New medications, or it could be weightloss that will resume once op starts maintaining, etc) It's not a perfect indicator of health. I had a regular period with a bmi anywhere from 16.3-17.5 and I doubt anyone would be suggesting that I was healthy just because I happened to still have a period.
