12 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS....here is my rendition of 12 days before Chrismtas and sharing 12 of the BEST REASONS for making permanent healthy lifestyle changes into the next season for me.
In making the needed changes...
1) I'll like myself better
2) My metabolism won't plummet
3) I won't deal with guilt
4) I'll save on finances
5) I won't over consume (eat) and over consume (think)
6) I'll lose weight and reach my goal
7) I'll fit into my clothes and save money on having to buy larger sizes!
8) I'll like my body better
9) When I'm happy with how I feel, it reflects to others in a positive way
10) I'll set a good example for my friends and family and quiet my inner fears
11) I'll find rest for my soul
12) I'll be transformed

Joining the party a little late but in the last few days I've been getting a kickstart before the new year.

I'm 5'3" and moved from Dubai from Ireland back in September... the Dubai stone is a real thing! My goal for this challenge is to get to 135lbs as I'm heading to Thailand for two weeks soon after this challenge ends.0 -

For this challenge:

Though I saw my weight go down all the way to 118.2lbs on Sunday, I'll wait until next week to record it at that if the festive foods this week don't negate it.0 -
So today my scale shows different numbers every time I step on it. Yesterday I was 95.0 kg, so let's say for two weeks a total loss of only 0.8 kg and last week- 0.4 kg but also 1 cm off waist and 1 cm off hips which I consider more important.
Last week I didn't have any bad days and have been logging as accurately as possible. I am also getting more serious about exercise but maybe the effect will show in the long run. Can't lie it's discouraging that I didn't lose as much as I set as a goal. Anyway, that's OK. Good luck everyone!

I'm shocked by this weigh-in! I had a really bad weekend and felt like I'd gained weight, but I'm still down a pound, which means so far I'm losing more than a pound a week for a total loss of 2.6 pounds. I was feeling pretty discouraged, actually -- I hit a brief low of 252.2 on Saturday night when I was super dehydrated, so the rebound to 253.4 was making me feel like a loser. This challenge really helps me keep everything in perspective and stop focusing on the miniscule day-to-day swings.0 -
