I finally made it to a loss of 25% of starting weight!!! I need to lose 13.6 lbs now to no longer be overweight. I know 13.6 may not sound like a lot, but I'm going to need to come up with another mini goal on the way there because it could take a few months!10

get up to 10,000 steps again. It's a longer battle than it was 5 years ago, but I got this.13

What percentage would you be at then? Can you aim for 30%? I am at 45% at present (to my current goal), and although I may revist that goal, aiming for 50% feels pretty good. That will take me to about 1lb from the top of normal bmi. (I understand why they took it away, but I really liked having the % counter on my mfp profile page. I hve had to make up my own now.)

Congrats on your progress, @charmmeth ! Losing 13.6 more pounds will put me at 31.1% lost, so 30% would be too close. I may need to consider some non-scale goals during this time. I'm going on vacation next week though, so I think my goal for vacation will be to maintain! I hope to eat some delicious things in moderation and stay active! We're planning to hike a lot, so that will be great!

If it's feasible for you, remember to break them up throughout the day, and they will add up quickly! Good luck!4 -

That sounds really sensible. We are having a staycation as my husband does not want to travel. I aim to work out most days and to encourage my husband to come for walks with me as well. We will be coooking for ourselves and not eating out so the plan is to keep losing. Usually when we go on holiday we eat well and I put weight on.8 -
I am at 38 pounds lost; 40 pounds lost is sooo close!13

I lost 20lbs officially today! That was a HUGE goal for me! I have about 20 more to lose! My mini goal to keep me motivated was to fit into my size 10 jeans, which I now do! My next goal is to get down to 158 (out of obese category). I'm currently 164lbs.
Way to go!!! Exciting news for you!!!4 -

GREAT, you can do this by the end of the month!!!4 -
I was down to 222.1, my mini goal is to get UNDER 220 by Aug 1st. I have seen then under side of 20 in many years.9

Either getting into the 130s or just needing to buy new pants (almost to the pants one. I don't wear jeans so I'd love to get into a small legging/yoga pants/workout pants. Currently at a Medium)
Either one would be just fine with me6 -

Good luck Angel ~ It's the small victories that make is fun. When I got under 230 - I bought some new workout shorts.... now... I'm looking at getting under 220... once that happens... I"m going to buy a new shirt and pair of shorts. Real shorts and not gym type lol.5 -
I have been under 13 stone (after exercise, but our heavy scales) the last few days: 12 stone 13 lb. This is a big mini goal for me as a Brit. For those who don't do stone it is 181 lb. This means 1 lb to 180 lb which is 50% of my currently planned weightloss, and 2 lb to 81 kg which puts me at the very top of normal bmi (25).9

My next goal is to get to last summer's lower weight for me, which requires a 15 pound loss from this morning's weight.
Next goal after that will be onederland (20.2 pounds for that goal).
My third goal comes soon after, to get to 191 to be overweight and not obese again.
I'm hoping to be there with goal #1 and 2 by the end of summer, which I think is about 2 months from now. I'd like to be no longer obese by Halloween. I'm working hard at it, if I can't do it by those dates it won't be from lack of trying!6 -
Three pounds until I hit a normal BMI for only the second time in at least seven years. For keeps this time.

To find a girlfriend in the gym for short period relationship2

Success can be very motivating.
My BMI right now is 31.3 which is still in the obese range even though I have lost 50 lbs and I have a lot of very loose clothes.
I am now aiming for a weight of 164 which for me would be in the top of overweight range.
That is my mini goal.11 -
- Eat under my calorie goal
- 2 lb/week weight loss

See photo. Have never looked this portly in my long life! We take care of the grands every day, which means jacking with food all day long, pantry and fridge doors always open. Tough room!6

That is so exciting! Way to go!2 -
My mini goal is to get into the 130’s and stay there. I was 140.4 this morning.
I actually got down to 138 very briefly at the end of Feb/early March. I felt like I was well on my way to goal, but then COVID hit and my activity level went WAY down. My weight went up and I started bouncing around the mid-140’s again.7 -

I feel your pain. I was 81kg just before Easter; then Easter came, and Easter eggs, and wine, and my weight shot back up. I am now working oh-so-slowly back down to 81 kg (currently something over 82 kg). That's my mini-goal. 75kg (or maybe I will decide 72kg once I get to 75kg) is my goal.5 -

Hi Green-Valli ~ I'm on my way down (in weight) as of this morning my BMI is 34.3 showing me in the obese range. Now, while I am not where I want to be, I am larger than I wish to be. But I surely don't feel "obese". But... I like this as a mini goal - to get to BMI 29.9 which would tell me I'm "overweight". Ok.. maybe not a "mini-goa".. I just checkd and I'd have to get down to 197.0... and that is where my goal is.. to be under 200lbs.

I want to drop 15-20 lbs by late October. We have a week long camping trip with the horses planned in the Ozarks and my horses will thank me for the weight loss!10

I'm making a return anniversary trip with my wife to Jamaica in May 2021 given the current pandemic doesn't drag out till then and prevent it. My mini goal is to be at or below the weight I was the last time we went (5 years ago) which is also the halfway point of my overall goal. (By May goal weight is 240lbs my overall goal is 205-210 lbs.)
Multiple reasons for this including a much more comfortable flight, and feeling more comfortable on the beach.
I can get there!

Oh my gosh, I feel ya on the more comfortable flight bit! I am flying next week for the first time since losing 60 lbs and I can't wait to see how much better it is! Well, I'll also have the added benefit of social distancing, so won't have a stranger sitting on top of me, which will be a new and welcome experience. I wish you luck on your journeys (both figurative and literal)!6 -
Mini goal motivating me right now is to hit 200 lbs. Started at 350 and currently just about 209. I've never been this "small" my entire adult life. Not even high school, maybe like 6th grade?
Final goal is 185 I think22 -
Fitting into my pre-pregnancy jeans 😁9
