Not really a mini goal, but I am getting married in 79 days time and want to look good in my dress. Fiance is naturally thin and didn't want to look like Laurel and Hardy in the wedding photos. Now need to get my dress taken in!!

Congratulations! And what a lovely dress!

Thank you. I've lost a total of 35lb since January and dropped 3 dress sizes. I just need to learn to keep the weight off now....always a bigger challenge than losing it for me!

Oh yes, I really understand where you are coming from! There is a great threat on the forum offering inspiration for those who lost and gained again and are now losing again. There are a lot of us around.

Right now my weight is 202 lbs so my mini goal is to get to 199. It kind of SUCKS to have that goal since I was trying to lose weight 10 years ago when I was 165 lbs...but it is what it is.

Leah ~ you've got it! Just do what you know to do everyday. I got under 230 last month - now I'm trying to get under 220 this month... it'll be the first time I've been under 220 in many many years.

Good luck and got kick some butt.

    Just restarting losing weight.
I am tipping the scales at 353lbs and it would be nice to get that first 4lb out of the way to put me below 350lb.
My ultimate goal is rather more ambitious....to lose 128lbs

Hey brother - here to you hitting UNDER 350 soon! Looks like your on the right path being here. Break that big goal (of losing 128lbs) into mini-goals (such as those first 4lbs).

If you want it bad enough ~ you'll be strong enough to get it.

You got this! That's where I was when I started. I was 350 lbs and currently 212 lbs so just shy of 140 lbs lost. Next goal is to get out of the 200's and final goal is maybe 185. Feel free to add me if you'd like

Today I weighed in at 167.6, BMI of 24.9. I am so happy and motivated to keep going. And I have the holiday weekend to do my closet cleanout! I know that sounds sad but I'm trying to make the most of a stay at home July 4th.

My next goal is to have lost 10% of my body weight, which will come at 166.1.

165.9! Although my brain is struggling to see it I have lost 10% of my body weight! Next mini-goal is to reach 75% of the way to ultimate goal weight. That'll be at 164.8. All the best to everyone working towards your goals, it's awesome ❤️

I have a pair of shorts hanging on the outside of my closet that I keep trying on and continue to do so until they fit the way I want them too. I'm within 50 lbs of my end goal!

You'll get there. It's like they never fit....and then one day they do! I have this with a pair of old jeans. I try them on every two weeks :)

I've held at 210 all week and now my new mini-goal will be 208. Baby steps for me; I'm new to remembering I have a mini goal, and keeping it reasonable for me means something I won't forget while waiting to get there :# I can't remember where any of my bruises come from, either, but that's been true since I had my first child :)

My weight loss has been so slow (like 1.5lbs per month) that my mini goals are tiny too. Next up, I want my weight to start with 96 instead of 97kg. I’m less than a pound away from that. Every number away from 100 is a big win.

The upside of operating in kg personally but in pounds on MFP forums is that I can set milestones and goals in both units, so next up are:
    Under 97kg
Under 212,5lbs (so it rounds up to 210 instead of 215)
Under 96,21kg (my next Happy Scale milestone)
    Under 96kg
    Under 210lbs
Under 95kg (this is the first really big milestone where my weight would round up to 90 instead of 100)

I’m absolutely going to celebrate these and feel like the success kid meme everytime I reach one of these.

Most of all, I really want to hit all these goals by the end of August. I want my weekly loss rate to be closer to 1lb than zero.

My loss rate is finally where I'm happy with it, 1,3 lbs per week for two weeks in a row. Current predictions for my first BIG milestone of 89,9 kg are now in early October instead of mid-November when my birthday is.

Looking at Happy Scale predictions also informed me I'm 1,4 lbs away from losing 20% of my goal, which is to reach 79,9 kg.

My next mini goal is to get below 83kg on our heavy scale as well as our light scale. (We have two: one weighs consistently but light; one weighs inconsistently and 0.6 - 0.8 kg heavier. However, my doctor's scales would suggest that the heavier one is more accurate.)
