    Jan 1 - First bicycle ride of the New Year!! 38.4 km ... should be almost enough to burn off all the cinnamon rolls I made and ate. (120 min)

    Jan 2 - 52.06 km with 613 metres of climbing. Plus wind. Plus ... surprisingly chilly. My feet were quite cold when I got in. (160 min)

    Plus 0.6 km walk to get shortbread cookie making supplies. (7 min)

    Jan 3 - 32.8 km!! And that brings 8 days in a row of cycling to an end. (100 min)

    I was kind of hoping to do a flat route, and the first 20 km wasn't too bad, but then it got hilly. Oh well, I'm starting to get used to that. :grin:

    1st Jan: Oh my, what a headache - no gym for me today, not a good start to the year!
    2nd Jan: 1 hour body pump and 1 hour spinning
    3rd Jan: 1 hour spinning and 1 hour circuits.

    Total for January and for 2016 so far: 4 hours.

    4th Jan: Late finish at work so became my rest day after I missed gym session.
    5th Jan: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits
    6th Jan: 1 hour total body conditioning plus 1 hour spinning
    7th Jan: 1 hour circuits.
    Total gym time for January so far: 9 hours.

    Jan 8th: Drink with girls after work so no gym time today
    Jan 9th: 1 hour body pump and 1 hour spin

    Total for Jan so far: 11 hours.

    Jan 10th: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits
    Total for Jan so far: 13 hours.

    Jan 11th: late finish at work so no gym.
    Jan 12th: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits.
    Total for Jan so far: 15 hours.

    Jan 11: 15 min. dancing by hospital bed. :-)
    Jan 12: rest day
    Jan 13: 20 min. slow walking around hospital floor + 60 min, 17.3 mi on the DeskCycle after discharge! Back home and back in the saddle!

    Only seeing this post now, but I'm definitely intrigued! I could probably still make it, if I count walking as exercise. (I really don't do that much moving I noticed, slowly I will be increasing this this year.)

    No counting more than an hour of walking a day though, I do want some form of 'normal' exercise as well. Happy to join you all!

    Not to worry! :) I don't mean quit exercising - I just mean quit reporting. It requires mathage and math is hard.

    Thanks Christina, hope you had a fab time out of town! So, we probably all put on a couple of pounds over Xmas and didn't do quite as much exercise so now the challenge is on to get straight back on it for the new year!

    I've set myself a goal to hit 40 hours in the gym for January, here we go!

    1st Jan: Oh my, what a headache - no gym for me today, not a good start to the year!
    2nd Jan: 1 hour body pump and 1 hour spinning
    3rd Jan: 1 hour spinning and 1 hour circuits.

    Total for January and for 2016 so far: 4 hours.

    4th Jan: Late finish at work so became my rest day after I missed gym session.
    5th Jan: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits
    6th Jan: 1 hour total body conditioning plus 1 hour spinning
    7th Jan: 1 hour circuits.
    Total gym time for January so far: 9 hours.

    Jan 8th: Drink with girls after work so no gym time today
    Jan 9th: 1 hour body pump and 1 hour spin

    Total for Jan so far: 11 hours.

    Jan 10th: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits
    Total for Jan so far: 13 hours.

    Jan 11th: late finish at work so no gym.
    Jan 12th: 1 hour spinning plus 1 hour circuits.
    Total for Jan so far: 15 hours.

    Jan 13th: 1 hour spinning
    Total for Jan so far: 16 hours.

    Jan 14th: 1 hour circuit training
    Jan 15th: 1 hour spinning plus half hour running
    Total for Jan so far: 18.5 hours

    Jan 16th: serious case of DOMS so canceled my gym session. Went for 3 hour leisurely walk and did 1 hour of stretching. Not counting that as time here though as I stick to gym time for this challenge.
    Jan 17th:1 hour spinning and 1 hour circuits

    Total for Jan so far: 20.5hours

    Jan 18th: rest day
    Jan 19th: 1 hour spinning and 1 hour circuits
    Jan 20th: finished late at work so became a rest day.

    Total for Jan so far: 22.5hours
