Girls eating over 1500 cals and losing

Hi all

I just wanted to get a few people added onto mfp that are eating over 1500 and losing weight!

Alot of the girls on my app are eating 1200 a day but I'd like to get ideas etc from girls eating more and loose as Iifym.com gave me 1750 at fat loss so I wanted to see whose getting success with it and how :)

    Just restarted and have an aim of 1650. Did this pre baby and lost over 2 stone then and was over 1500 nearly the whole time (started at 1750 back then) Feel free to add

    My goal is set to 1710 cals a day for a 0.5 lb loss a week. My Fitbit generally adds anywhere from 50-300 calories a day depending on how active I've been. I typically eat a minimum of 1500/day. I will admit I was off track for awhile and wasn't logging and just started getting back into it this past week. Feel free to add!

    I CUT BACK to 1600+ cals and have lost so far. This worked for me last time too (about a year ago). My goal is a modest 1 lb/wk loss. I have total of 20 I want to lose. This week was about 4 lb, but of course I expect that to slow down! Exercise and an active lifestyle are key. Youth prob helps, too. I'm 53, so I guess I'm doing better now than I will at 70....

    My goal is 1200 so I may not be helpful, but my actual average over the past 6 months is 1550 and my average over the past four weeks (with the holidays) was just under 1750. It varies week to week. I've lost 33 pounds so far even at that number (I'm 5' 4.5"). I'll send you a friend request anyway!

    2000 plus a day and have lost 30 pounds so far :) I have a fitbit, workout and totally, completely, happily eat back all but 500 of my daily burn a day ~ hope that helps ~ best of luck to you! :mrgreen:

    I've learned 3 things.
    #1. Even tho MFP is saying 1230 cals is my goal, it is NOT enough. I'm aiming for 1400.
    #2. I need to keep eating every 2-3 hours.
    #3. Once a week, I need to have one sweet item to shock my body.

    Normally my goal is 1700 because I had it set to lightly active to lose 1 pound a week. Since getting the Fitbit I have changed it to sedentary so my calorie budget is now 1410. There is no way, even on a rest day would I eat that low...lol I typically eat between 1800-2200 (sometimes more) with exercise and I am losing weight. I have stalled a bit but still becoming lean as I have increased my heavy lifting routine. Feel free to add me!
  • Feel free to add me - I have my diary set to 1500, but that's because I am well aware of my own tendency to eat ~200 calories above whatever I set my diary to, and also because I like to run a higher deficit during the week to compensate for weekend indulgences. My TDEE is roughly 2300-2400, so I lose quite happily at 1800-1900.

    I'm at 1620 and have lost 2 lbs so far in 2 weeks so I'm on track so far to lose 1 lb/week. Started my new journey for the new year. Goal is to lose 30. My diary is open! I exercise at least 4x per week. Anyone feel free to add :)

    I eat about 1700 per day and have done that or more or most of the last 19 months. I simply can't go lower that, I get too hungry.

    I am so happy to have read this thread. I get so tired of seeing women eat 1200 calories or less for no good reason! I'm on 1470 cals a day, plus fitbit calories. I'm on my last few kgs and I just want them gone already!
