    This sounds bad but I go out of my way so I don't have to interact with my mother. I love her dearly but from a far. She brings me down everytime I talk to her so I prefer just to have limited contact with her and keep myself happy. I'm a mother now and I would hate it if my kids did that to me but I'm also not my mother lol
